I've discovered something. I've figured out exactly what my favorite embellishments are. 

glitter, feathers, and fur

The epitome of girly. Yet I'm not a girly girl, I don't think I've ever really been one. I love dresses and dressing up, but not with ribbons and bows and frills. And of course I haven't been obsessed with these things all my life, but now, I just want my closet to be filled with them, but in my own grungy romantic way.

And what little girl doesn't love princesses? I will admit that I still love princesses and fairytales.
Especially Disney princesses and Rapunzel, because come on people, Tangled was a beautiful movie. So of course Oscar de la Renta's pre-fall show would kinda made my heart sing a little bit. Filled with my favorite things, it made the girliest girly girl hidden deep down inside me reveal herself a little more.

The Angst of Bathing Suit Shopping

Most women hate bathing suit shopping because of their body or being shy or whatever, but right now, I hate it because of the colors. I love bathing suit shopping, and I'm getting some for my upcoming (and much needed and anticipated) trip to the Bahamas. I have found two amazing and affordable bathing suits and what color are they? BLACK. Of-freaking-course. Because it's not like I already have two black bathing suits or anything.

Spring 2011 part IIII

L.A.M.B.

I've always admired Gwen Stefani's style and L.A.M.B. remains one of my favorite labels. The prints and pattern mixing is awesome! I love the shapes, cuts, hems, and of course, the ruffles.

Naeem Khan

This collection is gorgeous. I love that first gown up there, it looks like a bouquet is exploding on her chest. Every piece of clothing in this collection has the power to make a woman feel and look beautiful.

Sass & Bide

This is the freaking coolest collection I've ever seen. The collar just pulls everything together and it's just SO COOL. It's all so wearable too. At least in my opinion. I don't think I can put my love for these clothes into words.

Twenty8Twelve

I can see a lotttt of girls wearing these clothes. They're fun and cute and summery and young. I really like the petticoat idea too.

Wayne

I'm not sure what it is about this collection that makes me love it so much. Maybe its the neutral colors, soft textures, cut out leggings, or just the easiness of it all.
