Give to Get

So it's obvious that Ronni and I are big fans of going through our closets and getting rid of old clothes. Two days ago my mother was like, no more new clothes till you get rid of some! (Mind you we are going back-to-school shopping soon and this would totally make that trip a disaster). So I'm all for it, I have a lot of stuff that doesn't fit me anyway. At swim practice the next day I was talking about how when I get home I'm gonna go through my closet and get rid of stuff, and my really cute neighbor a year younger than me who I totally love was just like,"Ah I want your stuff!" So of course I agreed to it quickly. After going through my stuff that night I probably gave her like 4 or 5 pounds of clothes that are sooo perfect for her. Today, she brought me a few things back that didn't fit her and, surprise! a $25 gift card to American Eagle. Now I was definitely not expecting this, I was just happy to give my clothes to someone who would appreciate them, and when she said she got me a gift card I was like sweet, $10! Now don't expect this when you give your clothes to someone, most of the time the gift of giving clothes away is the closet space and the end to a severe lack in hangers (ME!), which is so worth it.
