Because your closet can be full of expensive designer stuff, but that doesn't mean you'll look amazing all the time. Chic is when you can do a lot with a little. It's all about putting the same stuff together in tons of different ways so you always look amazing and new. Accessories are key because with different pieces you can make an outfit look like it's worth 1,000 bucks, and it's smart to invest in staple pieces that you'll wear all the time. Like don't spend $400 on a dress you'll wear once. Because that's stupid and you know it. Unless it's for some major event. In that case, you go out there and get something so amazing that everyone will stare at you with envy : )
