TRENDS MY FRIENDS:
THE JEGGING.
Junior's Xhilaration Denim Leggings - $9.99 Target
Bubblegum Stretch Legging Jean - $24.90 Alloy
So what do you wear them with? EVERYTHING!! sweater, tank, dress; heels, flats, boots. Seriously, its a big deal.Jeggings (in case your wondering) are a combo of jeans and leggings. Jeans + leggings = JEGGINGS! They are growing in popularity, and are a must have for any time of the year. Some are more legging-like ( top picture), while others are more jean- like (bottom picture). Either way, adorable and versitille. Its a trend, my friend.

Ok so I was shopping in Erie last week when I passed by Wet Seal and saw the most awesome sweater ever!! It was white, with a kind of transluscent felt as the material. And it was cropped with a waistcoat-like tail type thing in the back. It was magical. And it was paired with black sequin leggings and I just about passed over from the coolness of it. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry so I couldn't go in and get it :(. So, I went online to look for it on Wet Seal. I did not find the same one :(, but I found one that's similar, it just doesn't have the tail thing.

Just imagine this white, longer in the back and slightly transluscent. with sequin leggings. 'nough said.

Felt... Yes felt : )
Flannel? No! Felt is the new flannel!
(JK I love flannel)
So on Saturday I went Christmas shopping with my mom. Instead of hitting the mall (borrinnggg), we went to a bunch of small shops and this craft fair. Now I gotta admit, I was a little skeptic about the craft fair but I found this great lady who had a bunch of felt stuff! - IMPORTANT TIP: If you are nice, sweet and show interest in the items being sold, you could get lucky. That's what happened to me! The lady loved me so much she lowered some of the prices : )
P.S. The shoulder bag is from New York & Company, <$25

Not just boots
These Boots are not just any boots...
These are Boots with a manual.
The Boots:
The amazing manual:
The Boots on:
Ok, background check:
I saw these shoes in Macy's a few weeks ago in Buffalo, and freaked. I went up to my dad all sweet, "Hi Daddy." Gave him a hug. "What do you want?" He asked me. So I told him, they were $80. "Put them on your Christmas list." End of discussion. Great.
The day these babies became mine:
Shopping with mom in Erie Saturday. Once again at Macy's, drooling over all these great shoes. Then.... BAM!!!! I saw these boots again. "Mom, mom, there's the boots, and they're only $75 now!!" So, we continued shopping and when we were almost ready to leave we came back. And low and behold, my momma had a coupon. 60 bucks later they were all mine : )
The manual:
I was admiring the boots in my room when my mom busted in with this little piece of paper in her hand. Grinning, she showed me the manual on how to wear the boots. It was taped to the inside of the shoe box. Haha. Two days later, when anyone asked me what I did over the weekend: "I got these boots that came with a manual!!"

MARC JACOBS: SPRING SUMMER 2010
Two words: sweet jesus. I think this collection really puts a fresh spin on the whole bright colors fetish. Seriously, I can't stop staring at it. Oh, god im drooling. The basic combinations of tunics and tulip skirts are spiced up with patterns and popping accessories which make it delicious. I like how these are all curve-friendly too. Sometimes I feel like overlaying and stiff blazers and dresses can hide your true form. This collection excensuates curves, while still upholding the bold and fresh appeal needed for the runway. For people who can afford Marc Jacobs, I am turning green. But for people like me, who go for the thrift, or the cheap but chic approach to fashion, you can steal ideas for great looks. For example, trendy big bows, or strappy heels can be "the cherry on the sundae"; the perfect asset to a bright romper or belted dress. (Sidenote: Rae has a pair of Harem pants just like the ones on the bottom left)
Some other looks from Marc Jacobs spring summer 2010:
Bravo, Marc Jacobs. Bravo.
