This quote...
"It's not what you wear, but how."
-Alexander Wang
We absolutely love this quote because it is sooo true. Like you can wear one shirt in so many ways. And the quote is also perfect for our blog since we are all about saving money. Because your closet can be full of expensive designer stuff, but that doesn't mean you'll look amazing all the time. Chic is when you can do a lot with a little. It's all about putting the same stuff together in tons of different ways so you always look amazing and new. Accessories are key because with different pieces you can make an outfit look like it's worth 1,000 bucks, and it's smart to invest in staple pieces that you'll wear all the time. Like don't spend $400 on a dress you'll wear once. Because that's stupid and you know it. Unless it's for some major event. In that case, you go out there and get something so amazing that everyone will stare at you with envy : )

And the polish comes in great colors! I will be ordering Navy soon and I'll tell you how it works! I'm so excited!
Face Mask Recipes
Ok so here are the face mask recipes that I promised a few days ago:
Oatmeal Smoothie: Mix 3 tablespoons of old-fashion (not instant), uncooked, oatmeal with 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt into a paste and pat on your face. Let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse it off and pat dry.
Papaya Mask: Lightly mash half a papaya in a bowl with a fork or your fingers. Rub the papaya over your face. Let the fruit dry for about 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry.
Banana Mash Mask: Mash one ripe banana in a bowl with a fork. (Don't over mash it or it'll be to runny.) Mix in one teaspoon of honey. Spread the mask onto your face and let it sit for 10 minutes. Rinse clean with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Many people are afraid of blush because they dont exactly know how to put it on right. Well there are many different methods, but really it depends what looks natural on your own face.
Instead of buying expensive products that claim to work "perfectly for everyone" here are some tips to make blush highlight the natural beauty in your face:
1. Tap or lightly blow on the applicator brush to remove any excess blush before applying to prevent a harsh and uneven application.
2. Apply your blush on the apple of the cheek and carefully blend towards your natural hairline.
3. If you have two shades, apply the darker one on the apple of the cheek first, then use the lighter shade to highlight. Blend well so there is no visible line between colors.
4. Highlight your temples, forehead and chin.
Tip: To know "where to glow" bend over for 30 seconds, then slowly stand up. Where your cheeks are flushed is where you are meant to blush. Apply your blush there and it will be naturally rosy every time.
Tip: Cheek color should be used to enhance your complexion, not to change your natural skin tone. Use sparingly for daytime, then add more or a deeper shade for a more dramatic nighttime effect. For special occasions, dust a lightly frosted powder over your cheekbones for a subtle but alluring glow.
Tip: Make sure to blend your blush into your foundation well or it will tend to look unnatural and add the appearance of 5 years to your looks.

Hey so here is my contribution to Ronni's awesome de-stressing advice. The a.) pulling your hair out is a disease called Trichotillomainia and it is not as rare as you think, so if you have it, don't be ashamed, go to a doctor! With therapy, you can stop pulling your hair and your bald spots will eventually go away [ : ) haha]. And don't think I'm a freak because I know that. I had to get an article for health and I picked that one cause of the name. Oh and b the innocent people one, sorry Ronni babe. Haha, that's what I do, and c too. And to the face mask part, I will post some great recipes for some great facials on Thursday, or Friday, or at the latest by Saturday!!! Promise!
