As we all know, Jessica has had quite a hard time with people lately over issues that aren't something we should be bugged about unless it's out of control (eh hem, weight). Seriously, the more power to her for dealing with all of that. Like really, Snaps girl, snaps. But... Her collection? Her first line was just shoes, and they are absolutely fabulous...

Now these are cute don't get me wrong, but they are just a little to like, I don't know. Ordinary. You know? They are like every other thing out there just only more expensive. Like if I wanted that blue maxi dress, instead of paying $148 for it, I could just get one from Old Navy for less than $40 and the Old Navy ones have a better print and are more detailed. Weird, huh? And her belt collection isn't worth the price either. If I really tried hard enough, I could find cooler and cheaper belts. And definitely the purses! Just like everything else just more expensive. Sad... And then when it comes to sunglasses I am definitely biased. They are probably awesome to everyone else but they aren't big enough for me : ) But i do really love the hats like these...

Keds!!!!

Plenty by Tracy Reese for Keds!!

Soooooo cool, right?! I L.O.V.E. them! They are like the normal Keds with no-tie laces, a wicked sweet print and a moccasin flare. For $60 they are worth every penny and great for any season or time! I have this one pair of Keds and they are like patchwork and I've had them FOREVER. I can't believe they still fit me. Maybe cause I wear them so much. They are like my go to shoe and they are sooo beat up so I'm thinking of replacing them. So either the blue fringe pair, (white will get dirty faster) or....

These! Not only are they eco friendly but so cute, great color, and $55! Yay Keds!

So obviously that's not all of it but really, what girl wouldn't like to have just that? But anyway the whole point of this was that Fergie is now launching not one, but TWO collections of shoes. The first line is called Fergie and that will be at Nordstrom but yay for all of us that are broke, the other line will be at JCPenny! We have yet to see just how awesome that line really is but with Fergie, who doesn't have high expectations? She does collect shoes.

Fashion show...

Well those Airblaster sunglasses that were the item of the day? Yeah I wore those and they are awesome. Perfect size and tint, and good quality. So anyway you might be wondering why I wore them. Well Suburban Blend (where the sunglasses are from) supplied most of the clothes for this fashion show (the best thing to happen in this town). It was super cool and I got to be in it! So I wore black and white pairs of the sunglasses. Because of this, I now get a discount at Suburban Blend (which I forgot to mention is one of my favorite stores). YAY! And once I go shopping I will post everything I got. I will also post pics of the fashion show once I get those.

DIY Bangle!!

Alright, so, this bangle was $0.99. Yeah, I know right? I had my eye on the bangles for such a long time cause they were originally $10.99 at Old Navy and with patients, I saved that extra $10 and got some bangles for the 99 cents. This one was just screaming for an update : ) So our local fabric store is Jo Ann Fabrics and they have these fabric quarters for quilters for like $1.97 or something and  there is kind of a lot of fabric in those  things. So I picked out this cool one and got it and this is what I did with the handy-dandy hot glue gun. The bangle is a little abstract shaped so I had to wrap strips around it and then I cut a thin strip and glued it to the inside to cover up the ends. But felt or some soft fabric would work well too. That would make it more comfy. So anyway, heres a special DIY from us to you! Enjoy!

Do you ever browse online stores?

Well, we do too. But here's the thing. When you get on the site ( especially a new site) you want to look at all the stuff. You want to do this so that you dont miss anything that you would really love. This isnt a bad thing but sometimes it can get time consuming. Well, instead of spending hours online, go directly to the sale section when you get on the sight. This way you can browse a more narrowed down selection that saves you money. If then you don't find anything that you adore, you can then look at other stuff. This can aply to shopping too. When you walk into an expensive store, go straight to the back where the sales are first because youre apt to get distracted. If you spend all the time in the front, youll never find your way to the sales rack. This is a great tip if youre a compulsive spender like moi.

Hey so this is my contribution to Rae's adventerous mix and match advise. I think that its very fasionable and in many cases, finacially wise to aply this tip to accessorizing. With a bold pair of earrings, or a bright, color splashed scarf, its easy to play it safe and color coordinated. But sometimes the biggest statement of all is to play it unexpected. One of the biggest parts of fashion is variety; to whip out something fresh and original. You can save money by using an accessory over and over again-but using it in a different way or with something different. This way, that patterened scarf will look and feel new everytime you wear it.

Patterns

So most people are very afraid of mixing patterns, and I was too. But you gotta know the trick, then once you do... you're addicted! The key is to match colors and color schemes and accessorize correctly. Its smart to have at least one solid color mixed in so then it can balance the craziness out a bit. Oh and NEVER wear too sequin pieces at once. Then its like, Woah, what are you trying to do?! If you are going to do that though, make them small pieces like a clutch and minor details on your shoes. Cause then they aren't that close to each other and won't overwhelm your outfit. So be adventurous!

Well I told you I would have lots of posts because of the all holy Teen Vogue! So this article in it called Night Moves is about how to save money with prom and the tips were from some of the most stylish supermodels. Well some of you may be going but we aren't old enough, but these tips are still good for any occasion, I think.
