H & M Tokyo

Hey peeps, sorry it took me so long to upload these but here are pictures of the dress and shirt that I got at the H & M in Tokyo : ) The shirt is obviously neon green with zippers on the shoulders. The dress, the coolest dress ever, is bright purple and is flapper styled. I LOVE it!

Adult Friends..

So I know this has nothing to do with fashion, but hey, maybe I can tie the two together by the end of this. Anyway this whole post is about getting too friendly with your "superiors". An article in the new September issue of Teen Vogue is about students getting too friendly with teachers, coaches, bosses, you know, adults in there life. They text instead of call, use first names instead of titles, friendly gestures, that kind of thing. This really wasn't that big of a surprise cause that's almost just how it is these days. I mean my neighbor texts me when she needs me to babysit and it's no big deal. Do you think it's bad or good? Because both sides can easily be argued.

So a few days ago I went shopping at a nearby town with great little shops that have the COOLEST things ever. At one clothing store I found the maxi dress for... wait for it.... $40. It's such a great steal because that store is kinda on the expensive side. The clutch I got at on of my favorite stores, The White Picket Fence, for $36. At first I wasn't going to get it, but I just had to. It's perfect for fall!! The store also has anything else you could imagine: loads of bags, tons of clocks, kitchen supplies, notebooks (I got an agenda for back to school 75% off!), books, dog toys, garbage cans, you name it. Best of all, everything is stylish! I also went shopping in Erie, PA and at Express, I got these babies : )

These look like leather, but they are so comfy!! And leggings are my new obsession anyways. I love them!

obsession: tuck ins

ok so a bunch of tops look great tucked into high waisted shorts. pair up cool color combos and you could get a great look! also if you tuck in your shirt you could pair it with a long cardigan on the cooler days. and you know how cool belts usually get lost under your shirt if you wear them in your belt loops? well if you tuck it then you can be creative with belts. but don't forget accesories! if you are wearing a flashy belt go with a necklace or a scarf. with some tuck ins overaccessorizing might ruin the simplistic look. here is a tuck in example:
