Like I Give a Frock

So my book came yesterday and you can imagine how happy I was. Like I was so excited to look at it. But I was looking at the cover and guess what! It said Fashion Forecasts and I was like Oh no you didn't!! Cause I have a post called Fashion Forecast that Ronni and I totally came up with it ourselves! But besides that I love the book : )

Check It Out: Inspiration : )

Check It Out Check It Out

So I am extra happy with my outfit today : )
Pants: Hollister (like $40)
Tunic: TJ Max (like $15) (Billabong)
Flower Belt: American Eagle ($24)
Other Belt (can kinda see it): Came with pants
Shoes (Hot!): Nine West (idk Mom's)
Well as you can see this outfit did not cost that much and to tell you the truth, its things that I don't really wear a lot. Weird, cause they are just so cute! I guess it's cause the tunic is actually really big and flowy without the belts. Like, really big. And I really don't now why I don't wear the pants. It's a crime I tell you! I'll definitely be wearing them more : ) But anyway, sadly I did not come up with this outfit on my own. I was really lacking creative juices this morning so I went to my handy dandy bible (Teen Vogue) for an idea....
world traveler

Now I know these outfits are way cooler but still, I found stuff like it without spending any money : )

Closet Cleanout

Ever looked in your completely full closet and said to yourself, "I have nothing to wear"? Well that can be easily fixed. Let me tell you the secret. Take a break from your scheldule on a weekend or in summer to go through all your clothes.Just take them out and you'll be surprised what you find. We often wear the things we like most, the most often. Therefore, these things are at the front of your closet in plain sight. The things we dont wear as much are hidden. When you empty out your closet though, you'll be able to look at all your clothes and probably come up with some great ideas. Get rid of the stuff that doesnt fit you any more and rotate the stuff you "ignore" to the front of your closet. Pair these things with some great new accesories and BAM!! great new wardrobe without even spending a penny. You're organizing your closet, getting rid of the stuff that doesnt fit, getting more amazing outfits to wear, and saving money all at the same time!!!! So there the secret's out.

$24.50 buy one get one 50%

Hey, my computer is choosing to be dum and wont let me paste a pic of these amazing shoes on the post, but trust me they are ahmazing!!
They are purple and strappy and have gold accents, such as on the buckle and heel. They're like a cross between a flip-flop and a on-the-runway kind of sandal.
So, they are just the thing for a great dinner party, or a fun double dutch with some friends. Pair them with lots of crazy stuff to mix it up a bit and really show off your inner diva. Never thought that one pair of shoes could do that for you, huh? Oh yes my friends. Oh yes they can.

Mix Matching

Its OK to not match : )

I've always been about dressing to fit your mood. And whenever I'm bummed, I usually dress better than usual... and feel better! But there are always those days where you aren't quite sure about what's going on in your brain and nothing seems right. Well this post was inspired by my outfit today which I admit had a lot going on, but that's OK. And I stopped feeling like such a dork when Ronni assured me that it was fabulous. But anyway, whether its a lot of patterns, too many colors, crazy funky eyeshadow with a too crazy funky outfit, or your purse doesn't match your shoes (I hate matching them anyway), its fun to be crazy and mix it up : ) Maybe you just shouldn't match one day. Take a break and wear some stuff you haven't worn in awhile. It will be worth it one way or another!

Nuns??

HOT or NOT?
So I was on style.com today and I saw this thing about how Nun and Priestess looks are getting pretty popular with the designers.
So I was like Umm a little morbid. Like I know they are always coming up with the next big thing but really? Why nuns? So I have mixed feelings on the whole deal....
HOT:
Coolest headband ever! The head wrap is a little much though, like I wouldn't wear it to school but still, cute right?
 How cool in the winter?

Frickin awesome (but maybe keep the hood down)
Never been a big fan of the cape trend but I would totally wear that.

NOT:
SCARY! And would anyone really wear that even?
 Matrix much?

Well anyway we now have a poll on what you think of this new maybe trend. We would love to hear your opinion!

Can We Really Blame PMS For Our Shopping Problems?
IMDB
no... no... no... no... nooooo!!!!!!!
So Yahoo had this article about a study if women can blame their shopping sprees on their monthly cycles. Now I know that's a good excuse but lets be honest with ourselves here. How many times do we buy too much when we are PMSing? Now how many times do why buy too much when we aren't? Do you see my point? I mean come on, it's a good excuse for every once in awhile but really? We just have too good a fashion sense to let ourselves be deprived of amazing things. Plus, some men are shopaholics too. Lets not be discriminative. Do they PMS? No. They may have their own problems but they probably shop a whole lot of other times too. So anyway, my point is that PMS may be a reason for our insane spending, but it is definitely not the only reason. Only a very small one. So shop on people. Shop on.
