Whether you wear colored lips or not, you gotta admit they look awesome. There are soooo many colors to choose from too! There's the classic red, the sweet pink, the goth black, the I like margaritas orange, the beach-y coral, the ahhh yes purple, the vixen berry, the grunge brown, the monotone nude, need I go on? The colors are like clothes. Have them fit your mood, your personality.
Especially now that I have my platinum hair (yes finally!), I want to focus on my lips when I put on my makeup now more than ever.
So forget hugs. Give kisses.
Princess in Training
I've discovered something. I've figured out exactly what my favorite embellishments are.

The epitome of girly. Yet I'm not a girly girl, I don't think I've ever really been one. I love dresses and dressing up, but not with ribbons and bows and frills. And of course I haven't been obsessed with these things all my life, but now, I just want my closet to be filled with them, but in my own grungy romantic way.
And what little girl doesn't love princesses? I will admit that I still love princesses and fairytales.
Especially Disney princesses and Rapunzel, because come on people, Tangled was a beautiful movie. So of course Oscar de la Renta's pre-fall show would kinda made my heart sing a little bit. Filled with my favorite things, it made the girliest girly girl hidden deep down inside me reveal herself a little more.

The Angst of Bathing Suit Shopping
Most women hate bathing suit shopping because of their body or being shy or whatever, but right now, I hate it because of the colors. I love bathing suit shopping, and I'm getting some for my upcoming (and much needed and anticipated) trip to the Bahamas. I have found two amazing and affordable bathing suits and what color are they? BLACK. Of-freaking-course. Because it's not like I already have two black bathing suits or anything.
