I think the world has become a less beautiful place. Alexander McQueen provided us with such amazing, imaginative, daring, and beautiful clothing and he has passed away. For the past 13 years he has fascinated everyone with his art, and changed the way people look at fashion. He will be dearly missed.
Our final project in art was to make a box resembling ourselves. We had to use colors that fit our inside and outside selves and magazine and wallpaper clippings to decorate it. I loved this project! It now holds my Teen Vogue Handbook, The Sartorialist, Helmut Newton's autobiography, and a bunch of pom-poms I made for my latest project.
So the other day my friend Shelby was telling me that seeing my outfits every morning was like a gift because they are so interesting. It made me pretty happy : ) I love when people comment on how I look (not if it's bad though of course). It's just like hey there is actually someone who doesn't think I'm weird.
So today I had no school and decided to play dress up. Instead of wearing stupid warm clothes I decided it would be summer and I'd wear my new henley tee from Urban Outfitters.
I like winter for about a month tops then I just want summer. You know how it is people.
Tee: $30 Kimchi Blue bodysuit: $24?? I don't remember Those shorts you already know about cause over the summer Ronni and I freaked out about them All Urban Outfitters Shoes: American Eagle
So I got these super cool earrings made out of Japanese Washi paper at a local boutique. They're really special to me because when I was in Japan I made Washi paper so it made them even cooler.
I still haven't worn them yet (yeah I know I suck), but whenever I look at them I just get really happy cause they're minee.
And I can't believe I'm saying this but... it might even be better than the Rodarte line. Yes, there, I said it. I'm so frickin excited I might pee. Ahahaha yessss. Click HERE to view the complete lookbook. I am determined to own the red swimsuit. It's $35. Oh yes. APRIL 25TH PEOPLE.
